Hello its the same that stihl fs44? I have it, i use 18x8 Propeller, but the rpm is too low.i think that original carburetor is Bad. What do you think? How I can increase rpm? The Engine is in bad condition??

How much power did it make it revs good ! U reved it about a 100 times . How about talk when the motor is not runing because i didnt understand anything u said when it was runing !!

Very nice j3! Sounded a bit lean on low speed but should be ok warm I just prefer a little more fuel down low! I was very tempted to give it a hit of choke! Just a finger on the carb as that sudden vac increase pull’s a heap of fuel and helps clear it! edit haha! should have watched before comments as you got that needle anyway!

Hi Gary..I have Os. 40 fsr ringed engines with many many hours of run time..and still run like new..My question..bc..ive never run ABC type ringless engines.. How many hours can these KBV 72 81 82 motors be expected to run if not leaned out excessivley ? Also..do they have to be run at the peak of their performance envelope or can you run them "off peak" and still have power to fly...I feel the same as you..as i worked for BV..machine shop.. in college (30+ yrs ago) and I have an affinity toward those glow engines...you seem like a great person...Love what you do btw..thanks.

That's a real nice job! Wonder what the thrust is, or would be with a 17" X 6" 3-blader. I have the Royal P-6E kit and bought an HP 120 , but if this would fit going gas would make more sense. I AM impressed!
